WHAT IS POWDER COATING?
 

Simplistically, powder coating is a powdered material applied electrostatically to a metal substrate and oven cured.  It is an extremely environmentally friendly coating that contains no VOC's (volatile organic compounds) or biological components.  Once cured, it is completely inert.  The finished coating is flame resistant and will not continue to burn once the flame is removed.

WHY POWDER COAT?
 

Powder Coating is one of the most economical, longest lasting, and most color-durable quality finishes available on virtually any type of metal. A powder coated finish is more resistant to chipping, scratching, fading, and wearing than almost any other finish.

PAINT VS. POWDER COATING
 

Powder coating results in a thicker, more dense finish (with a single coat) on metal products than conventional painting.  Many powder coating options are substantially more resistant to corrosive environmental elements such as salt water and ultra violet rays.

POWDER COATING OPTIONS
 

In addition to an almost unlimited selection of colors, textures and sheens, there are a variety of coating formulations for harsh environments.  Some coating formulations can pass up to 3,000 salt spray test.  Some formulations are particularly designed to resist abrasion.  Some are specifically created to withstand years of UV exposure.  Topps offers solutions to meet your specific expectations and environmental needs.
